Come early on Opening Day, June 18! It's Kids' Day and everyone gets in for
$9 before 5 p.m.
Radio Disney takes the Kiwanis Stage to rock it for kids with the KMKY
X-Treme Team. Includes live music, games and prizes from 1 to 3 p.m.
Kids' Day is sponsored by V. Dolan Trucking. Also sponsoring Kids' Day is
Lazer Radio and LeMejor, who will be on-hand with a booth of prizes during
and after the Radio Disney Show. Kids will not want to miss this. After it's
over, there are free carnival rides and other kid friendly attractions.

Highlights of Kid-Friendly Fun at the Sonoma-Marin Fair
Satellite Sports Bicycle Stunt Show has riders spinning 360 degree turns in
mid-air and finishing with gravity defying back flips. Riders reach height
up to 20 feet off the ground. This event is sponsored by North Bay
Construction and Y100.9 Radio.
Clover Stornetta is sponsoring Clo’s Corner where the ice cream is free and
the fun for kids goes on all five days of fair. The Santa Rosa Rainbow Girls
will run a craft center sponsored by the McDowell Drug Task Force. The Kids’
Pedal Tractor Pull sponsored by Sonoma County Tree Experts are a favorite of
the under 8 set. Regency Centers will sponsor the Petting Zoo. And the
Penngrove Hay and Grain will sponsor the Farm Animal Nursery. The Toddler’s
Driving Range will be open for children under 4 who want to earn their
driver’s license and is sponsored by Lee’s Auto Body. Brad’s World Reptiles
is back with more than 40 reptiles ranging in sizes from hand held turtles
to snakes of the full body wrap variety. Kids can visit sheep, goats, pigs,
cows, rabbits, cavies, and chickens in the agricultural barns and stay for
the livestock shows.
Plus there are the rides at the Kiddie Carnival including the Flying
Elephant, Dizzy Dragons, and a traditional ferris wheel. Older riders can
find thrills at the carnival on the Ranger, Tsunami, Falling Star and
Starship 2000 as well as the Diskothek and the new ride called Flippin’ Out.
